"Bike Bach - Tairua" is unique accommodation,
specifically catering for motorcyclists. It is
located on the popular "Loop Road" ride around the
Coromandel Peninsula, an easy two hour ride from
Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga.
“Bike Bach – Tairua” is a
stand-alone, two storied house providing “ride in”
lock up parking for up to 6 motorcycles.
The carpeted parking garage is
situated in the downstairs area of the bach and open
to the entry foyer which provides comfortable
seating – so you can sit and admire your “pride and
joy” while having a coffee and a yarn!
Downstairs are three separate
bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with
vanity, shower over bath, toilet and heated towel
rail.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, couch and French doors
opening onto a sunny deck.
Bedroom 3 has a single bed and bunks and a rollaway.
Bathroom has shower, vanity, washing machine and tub
and heated towel rail. Separate toilet with hand
basin.
All linen is provided.
The upstairs is bright and sunny
surrounded by windows giving beautiful harbour
views. The large living area has comfortable
couches, dining table and chairs and breakfast bar.
There is a full kitchen with gas cooktop, oven and
microwave and fridge freezer.
Generous decks allow outdoor
living and a gas BBQ is provided. The “bike theme”
is continued throughout the entire, tastefully
redecorated interior of the house.
There are numerous tin motorcycle
signs, large old time motorcycle print reproductions
on the walls and a funky motorcycle window decal in
the bathroom.
