The perfect place to experience a genuine farmstay and friendly rural hospitality at ANNIES COTTAGE. Come and join us on our extensive 440 ha sheep, beef and deer farm. We offer guests a home away from home. Enjoy a guided farm tour, fish in our trout-filled river, or just relax in the total privacy at Annies Cottage. We provide three comfortable bedrooms and a fully self contained kitchen and laundry facilities. Suitable for individuals or families seeking total privacy and interested in the outdoor life. Two night stay recommended however longer stay options also available. Enrich your stay by including other outdoor activities at our backdoor: hunting and fishing ( guides available), bush and farm walks, garden tours, jet boating and extensive mountain hikes, plus many attractions in the greater sunny Hawkes Bay area. Sleeps up to six people at $150-$250 per night. Meals can be provided by prior arrangement. Please bring all provisions with you as we have no shops nearby. Advanced bookings recommended. DIRECTIONS: Turn off State Highway 50 that goes between Napier and Hastings at Omahu (Fernhill in some maps) into Taihape Road. Travel 35 km to River Road (Right). Travel 8km on River rd. Our fully self contained units each come with a complete kitchen and own fenced courtyard. Spacious rooms make gear removal and kitting up easier and wardrobes provide extra storage for safety/wet weather gear. And parking is right outside your unit. Booking is easy either on line through our website, by email or phone or try your luck on the day and call in to see us. We have a couple of budget options through to better appointed units, from sleeping 2 up to a unit that can sleep 8. And all guests are welcome to use the hot tub on the premises. Motorcyclists are always welcome and our cosy and comfortable motel can be just the ticket at the end of a ride.
