Mandeville Lodge B&B is a 20 minute ride
north of Christchurch city/airport and caters exclusively for
motorcyclists, as it's also the base of South Pacific
Motorcycle Tours Ltd. This friendly family business also
offers superior full and self guided tours plus Harley, BMW
and Triumph bike rental. Your hosts have a passion for people,
travel and motorbikes, and will make you feel very welcome
indeed.
Your bike will be safe as the grounds are
gated and garaging facilities are alarmed, and your hosts will
be only too pleased to provide you motorcycling tips and
travel advice before you set off into paradise.
Mandeville Lodge is situated on the
Canterbury plains and has the feel of an 'olde-colonial' New
Zealand country homestead, yet facilities are clean, modern
and spacious.
The whole lodge is themed around motorbikes!
Four large bedrooms have twin, queen, and king-sized beds, tea
making facilities, TV, and views of mountains & an acre of
pretty gardens. Bathroom and shower facilities are shared. A
'big biker's breakfast' is served every morning and includes a
choice of bacon, eggs, hash-brown, tomatoes, baked beans,
mushrooms, toast, cereal, tea and coffee - it's served
'al-fresco' on the deck if it's warm enough. There's a comfy
lounge with SKY TV where you can also talk bikes over a glass
of wine with other guests and family members, there's also an
outside hot tub/spa where you can soak away all those aches
and pains, plus a stable full of motorbikes to drool over.
Wireless internet connection is free. You'll also be greeted
by Daniel the spaniel and two cats Milly and Muffin. A superb
biker-briendly place to stay!
