Welcome to the Hostería de Guara, a family run hotel located in Bierge, a small village in the Huesca Pre- Pyrenees region, the main gate to Guara range and canyons natural reserve. We offer our customers two possible accommodations: the hotel *** in Rusticae since 2001 and the Boarding House, the family's first establishment. The Hostería de Guara has 20 rooms, practically all them have a balcony, a restaurant with a summer terrace to enjoy outdoor dinners viewing the village, cafeteria, non-smoking reading-room, a garden with a swimming-pool, our corner to enjoy a nice sun bath. The hotel has 15 standard rooms and 5 special double rooms, all decorated with wooden and wrought iron fittings. The rooms are air-conditioned, they have TV with satellite channel Canal Plus and telephone, the bathroom is fitted with a hair dryer and toiletry kit. From the Hostería we can suggest you different routes to ride your bike arround the area visitind, nice villages, watching the landscape of Guara and the closest Pyrenees. We can also suggest you different activities: Cultural Cave paintings, archaeological sites, medieval fortresses, monuments, churches and hermitages, customs and legends... Our traditional craft products are well known. The area´s large amount of olive and almonds trees is basic to the excellent virgin olive oils and home-maid pastry. Honey and the Aragon´s sausage are also typical and the famous artisan cheese made in the Sierra de Guara and in the rest of Aragon and the famous Somontano´s wine. We can aloso arrange different activities in wineries. Work with wicker, basketry, pottery ... are part of our cultural heritage. All well documented information found in the Interpretation Centres that are marked out all over the region. Appointed World Heritage by the UNESCO, the cave paintings extend along the Vero river, concentrated in the towns of Lecina, colungo, Asque and Alquezar. Crossing the Cinca river in  the Estadilla range. Magic and mistery surround the scenes painted between 40.000 and 1.500 a.c. We are awaiting you!!   Bienvenidos a la Hostería de Guara, hotel rural familiar situado en Bierge, pequeño pueblo del prepirineo de Huesca, puerta de entrada al Parque Natural de la Sierra y los Cañones de Guara, al pie del Pirineo. Ofrecemos a nuestros clientes dos posibles alojamientos: el hotel ***, en Rusticae desde el año 2001 y la Pensión, primer establecimiento regentado por la familia. La Hostería de Guara dispone de 14 habitaciones, casi todas con terraza, restaurante con terraza de verano para disfrutar de las cenas al aire libre con vistas al pueblo, cafetería, sala de lectura para no fumadores, jardín con piscina, nuestro rincón para disfrutar de un buen baño de sol.
