A family run bed and breakfast situated in the centre of Braemar above the well known “Gordon’s Restaurant", one of the oldest businesses in Braemar which is still steeped in tradition. All of the facilities in Braemar are a stone’s throw away, with the local shop, post office public house and newsagent nearby.

We provide comfortable, high quality, spacious rooms which boast televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Our rooms are not en suite at present, however do have wash hand basins in all rooms and bath robes are provided for use of shared bathrooms. All guests that have stayed (without exception) have been delighted with the quality of the rooms and have often commented on their comfortable and peaceful stay.We also have a guest lounge for which is equipped with television and dvd player, games console and various board games. Both adults and children are very welcome to use this room at any time.

Full breakfast is provided in the price in our restaurant downstairs. Lunches and evening meals are also available in our restaurant up until 8 pm (last orders) staff and demand permitting. Packed lunches are also available by request.

All cyclists are welcome at Schiehallion House - we offer traditional Scottish hospitality - and there is always a dram to warm you up!! Motor bikes can be parked safely in our private, off road car park or garaged in our double garage.
